Welcome to Delicious Organics!  We are a local organic grocery delivery service for our neighbors in south Florida.  

We are just beginning to ship items.  Until now, we have only delivered locally.

We offer a greater selection of organic produce than local stores at prices better than most farmer's markets, buying clubs and even coops!  Our produce is the freshest - only days before it was still growing in the ground!  Plus we have organic staples, snacks and treats, organic hard-to-find gourmet items, environmentally friendly cleaning products and safer personal products.  And our selection grows every week thanks to your suggestions!

Please note:  Please use Internet Explorer or Firefox.  Some people have trouble submitting the order when using AOL browser and the latest version of SAFARI is also not working with our shopping cart, so please use another browser so you don't have to start all over again.  Firefox and Internet Explorer will allow you to save information in your shopping cart if you allow that cookie. That way you can start shopping and come back to the same computer to finish your shopping and submit your order the day before your scheduled delivery.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please take a look around so you know where everything is located.  Produce is at the top of the page.  Everything else is alphabetized.  New or Unique items are highlighted as well as items that are on Special (Special does not indicate old or poor quality, it merely means that we got an even better price on an item because of bulk ordering and we are passing the savings on to you.)  We are in the process of adding all the items to the cart so you will still notice some sections are not complete.  If you can't find something, use the SEARCH button at the top right of the screen.  If something is not on here that you wish to order  please send us an email with the additional items you want.  As always, we welcome your recommendations for new items to stock and suggestions on how to better organize the list and improve your shopping experience.

You can click on each major topic or on the subtopic itself.  All bread, for example, is under the major header BREAD, but to make life easier for those of us who cannot eat wheat, we have a separate section with only wheat-free breads.  We are going through our items to determine which ones are kosher and vegan and we'll be adding other ways to search.

At the top of the page you will see "Quick Order" with pull downs for each category.  Simply input the quantity of the items you want and click submit once per category.  This is a convenient forum for regulars that know what we stock.  

For additional information about any item, use the link on that item.  We've worked hard to include descriptions, pictures, nutritional information, and even recipe ideas so you won't be afraid to try a new food, fruit, or vegetable!  We are in the process of adding all these links to make your shopping experience an easy one, so thank you for your patience.  

Please note, if something is priced per lb, you may buy it by the piece (and then we'll weigh it and charge you based upon the weight) or you may buy it by the pound.  For poultry and meats, you choose how many packages or birds you want and we will weigh it and then we adjust your invoice to reflect the weight.  

EVERYTHING is Organic, unless noted otherwise.  Fish is Wild and Sustainably Harvested.  Beef and Bison are grass-fed and meet organic standards, though not certified organic.  Sprouts are pesticide free, hydroponically grown unless noted otherwise.  Honey, most is organic but some local honey is conventional; all of our honey is RAW affording more nutritional value and antioxidants and is very delicious; the bees are not killed after harvesting like many conventional honeys.  Most Cheese is organic but some are imported from cheesemakers that don't use hormones or antibiotics or rbgh.  Everything is Fresh.  Sometimes I'll make mention if things arrive particularly fresh and gorgeous.  We get eggs, milk and other dairy, fish, chicken, produce, fresh juice and perishables in regularly to make sure you are getting the freshest and best quality.  

Pesticides are heaviest in the foods we enjoy every day (and, even scarier, the foods we feed our babies and children) including bananas, strawberries (the single most pesticide-contaminated produce in the U.S.), apples, grapes, peppers, green beans, peaches and nectarines, corn, and even rice and grains!
